Amateur envestors used to scrape their money together and then try to leverage it using the penny stock market as a medium term investment. When the global economy starts to recover, share prices will begin to rise from their low point, investors will begin to feel more confident and suddenly the opportunities to buy at rock bottom prices will be lost. Now is the time for the shrewd investor to take a risk and buy good secure shares at a very low price with a view to securing a substantial return come the end of 2009. There will of course be a lot of volatility in the months ahead but market trends would seem to favour a general improvement, with some shares experiencing a marked improvement. The trick is to ensure you hold mainly the better performing shares and less of the more average ones.
