I just had this intriguing telephone conversation with my sis. As soon after I said, “Hello,” she opened with, “Guess what is my surprise for Eric this Christmas?” As you might have imagined, Eric is her hubby. At 2 o’clock in the morning I wasn’t so predisposed for a sisterly chit-chat, but I obligingly asked what anyway and the answer came with such gusto in her voice you’d think she was buying an aeroplane. Two Swarovski rifle Scopes, she said. Ho-hum! What’s so hot about a rifle scope? Although I did get a little fascinated with “Swarovski”, knowing it’s the most trendy name in crystals. As it turned out, she overheard Eric and a friendtalking excitedly about this rifle scope, so she’ll get him a Z6 Swarovski rifle Scope. Out of pure curiosity, I asked what only a sis would dare ask, “How much is it?” $2,000 something for a rifle scope!? That’s Overpriced!.
Anyway, I was curious enough to look it up on the nets. Well, even I was impressed; to put it mildly. It truly is a beauty. I can imagine why Eric would want it; I would even go as far as say the quality does back up the price. I also happened by the Swarovski Spotting Scope while I was doing the search. Now there’s another superb gift that a bird watcher would really love to have. Very neat and sleek, it will really be a pride to own one like that. And I have the ideal guy in mind to give it to – if I have the money for it.
